Character Portraits : Princess Violetta

Princess Violetta is a seven year old princess residing at Chand Castle. Among all my characters, she's the one I made originally, since all the others are based from people I know or from anime or books. She's also the one I adore most. She has silvery-blond hair with curls at the end, and ocean-blue eyes. When people see her, they always think that she's only four or five, mainly because she's small for her age and she always looks so adorable and innocent.


Violetta is the Queen's granddaughter. All of the people loved their cute princess who looks like a Barbie Doll. Her parents disappeared when she was only 2 years old, so she had no memories of them. Nothing much is said about her personality, since she rarely talked or did anything at all. But many people loves this little girl even though she was always staring into space.


Violetta's power is that she can walk through the realm of dreams, known to magical literate people as Dream Floating. She can walk, or for a closer term, float, through other people's dreams, usually unnoticed. Violetta's power had much use to the army, since new members can be detected by their dreams. Since Violetta discovered her powers, more members had been recruited to the army.

Violetta seems to have a liking to Mara Evans, maybe because she was well-aware of the fact that she saved her life, or maybe because she just liked him. Either way, Violetta smiles at Mara, which is rare, and she seems to have no intention on being away from her (as indicated in Chapter 6).


The members of the army are also aware of the fact that Violetta looked a lot like her ancestor, Catherine. They are afraid that she will be the key to the army's downfall, but she may also be the path to power. (More about this will be revealed in the following chapters).



Violetta will play a huge part in the story. This will how I imagine her when she grows up. More about her will be revealed soon!

Character Portraits : Shin Tao

Shin Tao is a seventeen-year-old girl from China. She has shiny black hair that's always in a bun and olive-green eyes. She's known for her optimism and quirkiness, and is always ready to make someone laugh. She's also talkative, "noisy" is how Ezra would put it, however. The members of the army always turn to her when they need a good cheering up. Shin loves romance movies and novels, and has a collection of them in her room. She also tends to be very curious at times, and will never stop till she knows the answer. Shin Tao was the one who told Ezra he has powers. Shin is the seventh member of the army. Her power is invisibility, where she can also make someone or something attached to her invisible, which is a rarity.

Character Portaits : Dexter Thomas

Dexter is a fifteen year old boy at the same grade as Mara Evans in the local public school at Guinevere, Canada. He's considered as the "school nerd", and seconds Mara when it comes to academics. He had a crush at Mara since they were in kindergarten, when Mara defended him from bullies. At first, he was shy and wouldn't speak to Mara, already contented at just looking at her, but recently he finally found the courage to talk to her, which he overdid. Mara's a little annoyed with the attention he's giving her. He would have been a popular guy at school, if not for his clumsiness, shyness, and cowardness.
