MAIN CHARACTERS :

MARGUERITE SHIRINA "MARA" EVANS - Marguerite, most commonly known as Mara, is a fourteen year old girl living in the small town of Guinevere, Canada. She is currently a ninth grade student at the local public school. She has jet black hair with curls, and chocolate brown eyes. She also known to be very clumsy. At her school, she is admired by her classmates and teachers for her intelligence and dedication to her studies. She's the president of the student council and editor-in-chief of the school newspaper. She is also known to be a little sarcastic, but except for that, she is very kind. She is the fourteenth member of The Secret Society of Magic. Her power is still unknown.







EZRA JERROLD FITZGERALD - Ezra is an eighteen year old boy from United Kingdom. He has dark hair and sapphire eyes, with a pair of glasses. He is currently a Senior at Levon Academy. He is known as calm and calculating. He seldom speaks, and he is infamous for his unforgiving nature. He loves profoundly, but hates as much. He became a member of the Secret Society of Magic two years ago, when he was just sixteen.He is the ninth member of the army. He is currently the Colonel of the army. His power is mind reading, with a perimeter of 20 miles. With an exception of Mara Evans.









MINOR CHARACTERS :

Guinevere, Canada :

CORNELIA CRISTINA WILLIAMS - Cornelia is a fourteen year old girl residing in Guinevere, Canada. She's Mara's childhood friend. She is known to be very loyal to her friends. She also loves Mara dearly, visiting her everyday when she was in a coma. She's also a ninth grade student at the local public school.












DEXTER IVAN THOMAS - Dexter is a fourteen year old boy who is at the same school as Mara. Much to his disappointment, he and Mara did not end up classmates. But that does not stop him from talking to her. Dexter is known to have a huge crush on Mara. He is also infamous for being a geek.













JERALDINA WATSON - Known to her students as "Ms. Terror", she is a forty-three year old teacher at the local public school. She gave Mara her first detention.

ETHEN ANDREY WILLIAMS - Ethen is a twenty-two year old young man living in Guinevere, Canada. He is currently in his third year in college, studying Architecture. He is Cornelia's older brother and Brian's best friend.

CYRENA, EUROPE :

Junior Army :

SHIN TAO - Shin Tao is a twenty year old Chinese girl residing at Chand Castle in Cyrena. She is the one who told Ezra that he has powers. She is the seventh member of the Secret Society of Magic. Her power is invisibility in which she can also make thing in contact with her invisible.














PRINCESS VIOLETTA - Violetta is a seven year old girl with silvery blond hair and ocean blue eyes. She is the granddaughter of the Queen. She is the youngest member of the Secret Society of Magic, she discovered her powers at the young age of three. Her power is that she can walk through the realm of dreams even when she's awake, the reason why she appears like she is always in a trance.













Senior Army :

QUEEN MIDORI - The Royal Queen of Cyrena also serves as the Field Marshal of the Magical Army. Recently, she seldom goes out of her chamber in the castle, and only her granddaughters have the right to visit her. She gives orders to the other members of the army by leaving them notes closed by the Queen's seal.

LAVERNA ZENA "LANNIE" FITZGERALD - Lannie is Ezra's and Keziah's mother. Also a member of the Magical Army, she kept this a secret to her children until Ezra discovered his powers.

LUCIOUS JOMO FITZGERALD - Lucious is Ezra's and Keziah's father, and Lannie's husband.


FAMILY :

LAURENCE EDMUND EVANS (Deceased) - Laurence died at the age of thirty-five from a plane crash. He left his wife and children unexpectedly. He was known to be a very wise man, and his family loved him dearly.

AIMEE NICOLE PHILIPS EVANS - Aimee is a forty-two year old widow of Laurence Evans. She has two children, namely : Brian (22), and Mara (14). She is a university professor in the local university, usually working overtime to provide for her two children.









BRIAN REIMUND EVANS - Brian is a twenty-two year old young man, currently in his third year college studying architecture. He is also the brother of Mara. He is known to tease his sister a lot, and they always fight. But he loves his sister greatly, although he does not show it often.















KEZIAH SHELIA FITZGERALD (Deceased) - Keziah died at the young age of fourteen, two years before the story started, because of Leukemia. She and her older brother, Ezra, were very close to each other. When she was alive, she used to compete in ballet competitions and she had a collection of Barbie dolls in her room. Ezra described her as "The perfect angel in the flesh". Keziah looked a lot like Mara, except that she had sapphire-colored eyes while Mara's are chocolate-brown.

ANCIENT TIMES :

THE QUEEN (Deceased) - The Queen is known to despise dark magic. In the time of her reign, witches were burned at stakes. They were hunted. She was horrified when dark magic was cursed to her bloodline. She thought it was a disgrace. Therefore, by her orders, their powers must be kept top secret, which is still being practiced until today.

CATHERINE (Deceased) - Catherine is known for her beauty, with silvery-blond hair and ocean blue eyes. The Queen's only granddaughter, she practiced dark magic, which her grandmother despised. Because of this, she was disowned. At a ball, she appeared and cursed the Queen's bloodline. Her reasons for practicing dark magic are still unidentified. Her life after her last appearance to the ball is still unknown.
